Welcome to my Personal Site

b7816_edited_edited.jpg

I was born in Bushehr, Iran, in 1992. I received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in civil engineering and structural engineering from Persian Gulf university (Bushehr) and Shiraz University (Shiraz) Iran, in 2014 and 2017, respectively.

Since 2017, I have been a member of a team research consisting of outstanding professors from the great universities corresponded by professor Tony Yang from the Department of Civil Engineering, The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. In this research path, we have worked on several innovative structural component and systems to improve structural performance, including the use of novel structural control systems particularly passive energy dissipation ones.

RESEARCH INTEREST

My main research interests includes:

•   Innovative Structural Component and Systems

•   Structural Control (passive and semi-active)

•   Structural Seismic Behavior

•   Performance Based Design Optimization

•   Resilience and Reliability Based Design

•   Fragility Analysis and Damage Assessment

•   Structural Rehabilitation and Retrofitting

•   Connection Behavior
